Humber Community Music students boast a history of national and international accolades and scholarships, including featured performances at North American and European Jazz Festivals, International Conferences, National and International “All-Star” Bands and Summer Workshops.
CMS graduates have found placements in many of the finest post-secondary music schools in the world including Humber College, McGill University, University of Toronto, Manhattan School of Music (NY), New England Conservatory of Music (MA), Brubeck Fellowship Program (CA), Berklee College of Music (MA), New School (NY), and Amsterdamse HS voor de kunsten, (Holland). A number of graduates have subsequently gone on to establish themselves on the national and international scene, performing and/or touring with well known artists such as Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Joe Lovano, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Kellylee Evans, Denzal Sinclaire, Rich Brown, Kirk MacDonald, Phil Dwyer and Nancy Walker.
Over the past 12 years, graduates have garnered over $2.5 million in post-secondary scholarships from across North America.
