     Start Date: September

     Location: Lakeshore Campus

Program Overview

This program offers training in the full spectrum of skills needed to succeed as a screen actor, whether for film, television, online, game, or interactive mediums.

Students will learn the fundamentals of acting, camera acting, the differences between acting for tv, film, and web series, acting styles, voice, movement, improvisation, script analysis, audition technique, studio voice overs, self-taping, and the business of acting, including how to shine at an audition and useful strategies on how to succeed in a highly competitive industry. Graduating students will also have a solid understanding of the workplace and industry – its history, protocols, and professional standards.

No other screen-acting program in Canada can lay claim to such a comprehensive curriculum taught by leading industry practitioners and respected professional actors.

Set simulations, screen demos, voice-over demos and our spring showcase before invited industry players provide students with unequalled opportunities to experience the world of screen acting. In addition, our students are given the chance to meet and discuss their work with some of the acting world's most recognizable faces, as well as with key industry personnel.
