Tanya Greve

Program Director, Theatre Production

Tanya is thrilled to be returning to Humber as a professor in Theatre Production this year and will be teaching Stage Management 1 & 2, Introduction to Theatre 1, Production Management and Production Applications.

Having graduated from the University of Toronto Drama Program in 1993, Tanya has been a working stage manager since graduation.

Even though she has done stints in company management, general management and stage managing some classical pieces, the majority of her career has been stage managing new Canadian work.

Some of Tanya's selected credits include: Eco Show and Insomnia for Necessary Angel; The List and Bear With Me for Nightwood Theatre; Bombay Black for Cahoots Theatre Projects/Vancouver Arts Club; Dying to Be Sick for Pleiades Theatre/NAC; Three Squares a Day, The Yoko Ono Project and Alien Creature for Theatre Passe Muraille; A Short History of Night, Glace Bay Miners’ Museum, The Gwendolyn Poems, Trout Stanley and Zadie’s Shoes for Factory Theatre; Girl in the Goldfish Bowl for Tarragon Theatre; Late for Obsidian Theatre; Merit Gets Wired and The Secret Garden for Young Peoples Theatre; What Lies Before Us and Time After Time: The Chet Baker Project for Crow’s Theatre (National Tours); two seasons at 4th Line Theatre; and eight seasons at the Blyth Festival with two seasons as Production Stage Manager.
