Through more detailed work on breath support, forward placement, resonance and articulation, this course focuses on deepening the process of freeing the actor's voice. Students continue to develop vocal flexibility and strength through regular conditioning and are assisted in addressing their individual voice issues. Students also continue to explore fundamental text tools and work to apply this training to the speaking of contemporary and classical texts. Accurate formation of speech sounds will continue to be a priority in all text work. This course also focuses on extended voice techniques and begins to look at vocal transformation in relationship to rehearsal and performance.
